Ask the model to argue against the paper before you read it
An adversarial summary tells you where to look. A neutral summary tells you nothing.
Neutral summaries are a trap. They sound like understanding and contain none.
Instead, drop the PDF in and ask: "What is the weakest part of this paper's argument, and what would a hostile reviewer say?" Then read the paper with that list next to you.
- If the model's objection is real, you just saved an hour.
- If it is wrong, you now understand the paper well enough to explain why. That is the goal.
- Either way, the objection and your verdict go into the Notion row for the paper.
Read the abstract yourself. Let the model be the reviewer, not the reader.
