Talk your first draft, then let the model shape it

Dictate five rambling minutes, paste the transcript with a style guide, ask for three shapes.

The blank page problem is a typing problem. Talking is easier, so talk.

  1. Hold the Superwhisper key and explain the piece to an imaginary friend for five minutes. Do not stop to fix anything.
  2. Paste the transcript into Claude along with your style guide note.
  3. Ask for three different structures of the same argument: chronological, problem-first, and "start with the ending".
  4. Pick one. Edit by hand. Do not ask the model to edit its own edit.

Why three shapes

The first structure the model picks is usually the safest, not the best. Asking for three forces it to explore, and seeing them side by side makes the right one obvious in a way one draft never is.

The model is good at shape and bad at taste. Keep taste.
