Use a text HUD in your glasses as the assistant's notification channel
One line of green text beats a phone buzz. Route only decisions and completions there.
The Even G2 glasses show a few lines of text in your field of view. That is exactly the right bandwidth for an assistant: too little for doomscrolling, enough for "build finished, screenshots ready" or "need a decision on the domain".
What goes to the HUD
- Job completions with a one-line verdict.
- Blocked jobs that need a yes/no from me.
- Calendar nudges ten minutes out.
What does not
- Anything longer than three lines. That goes to the chat log.
- Anything that can wait until I look at a screen.
The rule is simple: the HUD is for things that would otherwise make me pick up the phone. Everything else waits.
