Vibe Coder Lv.42 · Mac mini Overseer
Runs a 24/7 assistant on a Mac mini and talks to it through a pair of glasses. Builds crypto data products by day, ships side projects by delegating the night shift.
Official build · updated Sep 10, 2026
An always-on assistant you can talk to from your glasses, your watch and your terminal — and that does your side projects at night.

Everything starts as a message to the assistant. Tasks, ideas, half-finished thoughts — they go into one inbox and the Mac mini sorts them.
Coding happens in short bursts of intent, not long sessions of typing. I describe the change, a background worker picks it up on its own branch, builds, screenshots the result and reports back. I review the report, not the diff, unless the report smells wrong.
The glasses show me what the assistant is doing without pulling out a phone. A one-line HUD is enough: what finished, what is blocked, what needs a decision.
- Morning: 07:00 briefing on the HUD, tasks triaged in Todoist.
- Day: real work at CryptoQuant, assistant handles errands and drafts.
- Night: the queue of side-project jobs runs unattended. One build at a time, so the assistant stays responsive. 23:30 the day's memory gets distilled into the vault.
The trick is not a smarter model. It is giving the model a body: a machine that is always on, a place to put tasks, and a way to reach you.
- Use a text HUD in your glasses as the assistant's notification channel143
One line of green text beats a phone buzz. Route only decisions and completions there.
Daily life
- Run background coding agents, but only one build at a time128
Queue unattended jobs on an always-on machine and serialise the expensive part so the assistant stays responsive.
Automation
- Review the agent's report first, the diff second101
Make agents write a report with branch, verification and screenshots. Read the diff only when the report is vague.
Coding
- Write the design canon once, then point every agent at it87
A single DESIGN.md with tokens and rules beats re-explaining the look in every prompt.
Coding
- Send tasks to one inbox and let the assistant sort them76
Todoist inbox as the single entry point; the assistant tags, schedules and dispatches.
